Ingredients of Sesame Laddu:
300 grams jaggery
300 grams white sesame seeds
8 small cardamoms ground
3 spoons natural ghee
a pinch of saffron
3 tbsp full cream milk
Method to make sesame laddu:
To make sesame jaggery laddu, first clean the sesame seeds thoroughly and put them in a pan and roast them on low flame till they turn light brown.
When the sesame seeds are roasted, take them out in a vessel and keep them to cool.
Now crush some of the roasted sesame seeds.
Soak saffron in hot milk.
Now heat ghee in a pan and then add jaggery in it and cook till it melts. When the jaggery melts well, turn off the gas.
Before it hardens, add saffron milk and mix. When the jaggery cools down a bit, mix roasted sesame seeds in it well and also add pieces of dry fruits.
Now apply some oil on your hand and make medium sized laddus from the prepared mixture.
Serve it and you can also serve it as a sweet snack during a party at home.
